Programmes > Playfreely > The Transparency of Turbulence
28 - 29 Nov 2019 The Observatory’s annual experimental/improvised music festival Playfreely returns with a new breath, a broadening of terrains, a call beyond the pressures of the incarcerating cult. As we are standing at the borders of the dark ages, the dark lands, we come face to face with the shadow of a thought, an interminable spectre of becoming. What do we reveal? The Transparency of Turbulence is an alternative to how we coalesce and navigate a region that is continuously torn apart by words, egos, greed and ideologies. What makes us normal, is knowing that we are not normal. What we lack in reality, we seek in sound and music.
