Works > RUPTURE 28 – 30 May 2026 RUPTURE is a performance rooted in volcanic activity and seismic research. The project experiments with translating the Earth's deep, invisible processes into sound. Volcanoes embody a duality: creation and destruction folded into a single act. The work unfolds as a slow shift from darkness to light. Field recordings from volcanic sites and seismic data are transformed into sonic textures that mirror the cycles of rupture and renewal. As night fractures into dawn, sound structures rise and collapse, tracing the tension between chaos and form. This is a second iteration that continues an ongoing body of work investigating volcanic activity, seismic research and geologics through sound, narrative and embodied experimentation.
