SELECTORS #1: Farizwan Fajari, Marc Gabriel Loh, Natalie Pixiedub, Deanna Dzulkifli
24 June 2023

This upcoming 24 June at Goodman Open House, we launch the first installment of SELECTORS, an event bringing together artists and collaborators from all disciplines for an intimate listening session—where special guests share playlists shaped by their distinctive practices.

We’ve invited four SELECTORS from diverse backgrounds in the arts to share their curated playlists and personal musical inspirations. Expect an exchange of sonic inspirations in an inclusive space where conversations flow freely and connections thrive.

Drinks, merchandise and other items will also be on sale — all proceeds will go towards ongoing fundraising efforts. All are welcome!

Natalie Pixiedub: Arts administrator by day, Japanophile for life. Anime otaku, teeny bopper revival. Dive into Natalie Pixiedub’s world of Japanophilia with a cool beer in hand as she shares her sonic inspirations

Marc Gabriel Loh: One of those miscellaneous creatives working in and around art, design, music and theatre—Marc’s selection of tunes will take you back to the early 2000s, when the iPod was all the rage.

Farizwan Fajari: Professionally known as Speak Cryptic, Farizwan is an artist and musician from Singapore. At our open studio session this Saturday, Wan will be sharing songs that inspire his art.

Deanna Dzulkifli: An independent producer and The Observatory’s company manager. She will be sharing her inspiration for a night out; some things reckless, some sweet.
